Bruntwood SciTech, a 50:50 joint venture between Bruntwood and Legal & General is the UK’s leading property provider dedicated to the growth of the science and tech sector.
The landmark partnership formed in 2018 and has since created 11 specialist science and tech clusters across the UK, working in partnership with public, private and academic institutions, including leading Universities, NHS Trusts and city councils to drive inclusive, sustainable economic growth through investment in science and technology infrastructure.
The Bruntwood SciTech team has the specialist knowledge and a wealth of experience in masterplanning, developing and managing place-based innovation ecosystems for the science and tech sector.

Birmingham Health Innovation Campus
Partnership between The University of Birmingham and two NHS Trust Foundations
Birmingham Health Innovation Campus (BHIC) is set to be a world leading healthcare technologies hub, acting as a catalyst for the growth of the Midlands’ life sciences sector. Offering high quality, flexible lab and office space for teams of 12 to 165 working in medtech, precision medicine, diagnostics and digital healthcare, the first phase is due to be complete by November 2023.
The first phase of Birmingham Health Innovation Campus will offer 133,000 sq ft of premium lab and office space in the heart of a critical cluster of health excellence. The BHIC masterplan is due to be complete by 2031.
Glasgow Met Tower
Supercharging the city's tech sector
Bruntwood SciTech is redeveloping the iconic Met Tower into a new tech hub for tech and digital businesses, where university spinouts, startups, scaleups, and large leading tech businesses can co-locate together and benefit from being in an innovative, collaborative tech cluster.
Met Tower is a grade B Listed Glasgow landmark - made famous with its ‘People Make Glasgow’ Commonwealth Games building wrap - and is located in a brilliant location for innovative tech and digital businesses.
Not only is it in the heart of the city centre on the doorstep of Queen Street station and a short walk from Central station, its immediate proximity to the surrounding University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University and the City of Glasgow College will provide a huge pool of exceptional talent to draw upon for businesses at Met Tower. It is one street over from the city’s main shopping and hospitality district - Buchanan Street and Galleries, and adjacent to the historic George Square where the City Council Chambers are located.
